Burghound 87♥: Citrusy top notes are present on the ripe and fresh aromas of mostly pear and apple. The sleek, vibrant and utterly delicious middle weight flavors possess solid depth and persistence for its level. This would make a fine choice for an all-around house white.

Burghound 87♥: Cool and restrained if pretty aromas include those of petrol, lemon zest and a touch of crushed fennel character. The succulent, delicious and appealingly textured middleweight flavors possess a refreshing and agreeably dry finale that is more solidly persistent. This offers better than average quality for the appellation and is worth a look.

Decanter: There are delightful aromas of lemon peel and green apple on the initial attack of his entry-level Bourgogne. The texture is fresh and lively but not lacking in weight. Although it is a 'simple' Bourgogne Chardonnay, it conveys the origin of most of the fruit: 60% from the Meursault lieux-dits Sous La Velle, Les Magny and Les Belles Côtes and the balance from Champ Perrier in Puligny. The wine is gently pressed before fermenting and ageing in cask (15% new) for one year.
