Collection: Domaine Potinet-Ampeau
A true connoisseur's Burgundy, Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is a fifth-generation domain located in the village of Monthelie in the Cote de Beaune. Its size, 10 hectares in both reds and whites, allows it to be worked manually and sustainably by the family, from the vineyards to the cellars.
The domain's name comes from the families of Potinet and Ampeau, two estates who merged at the marriage of Vincent Durrieu's grandparents. Vincent is the current 5th generation at the helm, who continues the domain's practice of holding back stock for commercial reasons which started in the 1950s. With an exceptional record of wines that age beautifully, the domain now holds back bottles not because it has to, but because it is their own form of speciality and reputation.
