After examining the spread of Syrah throughout the New World, we also pay homage to the Syrah in its home of Rhône in France. In this stronghold, it is the benchmark grape of the Cote-Rotie in the Northen Rhône, while also lending its star power in the blend of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas in the Southern Rhône.
