Collection: Quaffable: Approachable and Great Value
Adjective: ' Quaff ' is a word that came from the 16th century. In fact, it is the Gaelic word for cup. 'Quaffable' is a term prominently used in the wine industry / amongst wine lovers to describe drinkable wine. Often referring to a wine that is of great value, easy drinking by nature.
Recently, our GV team concluded that it is actually easy to pick out a bottle of wine for a special occasion. Either you splurge on something fancy, or indulge in that bottle that you've had your eye on for the longest time.
The team surmise that it is actually harder to find a reliable bottle for everyday drinking. Something that will not break the bank, and fits the bill on being a crowd-pleaser for all occasions. Something approachable and ready to drink now. We started brain-storming to pull out a list of quaffable wines.
