Burghound 89: A mentholated top note can be found on the spicy mix of poached plum and warm earth. I very much like the texture of the delicious middle weight flavors that possess solid mid-palate density while exuding a refreshing salinity on the sneaky long and nicely balanced finale. Very good quality for a villages Gevrey.

Burghound 88: Enough wood to mention is present on the ripe, earthy and fresh aromas of various dark berries. There is very good volume in the context of the vintage to the delicious middleweight flavors that possess a lovely vibrancy that carries over to the lingering, balanced and sneaky long finale.

Burghound 89♥: A ripe, fresh and layered nose displays plenty of sauvage character on the mix of red and black fruit aromas. The delicious middleweight flavors possess good verve as well as solid depth and persistence on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finale.
