Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon
Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is the classic grape of Los Vascos’ vineyard and is the variety on which the estate has built its reputation. The common feature of all the vintages is ripe fruit, fresh aromas, and a supple, full-bodied structure. This wine has a sparkling ruby red colour and a pleasantly fruity nose with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and plums, all with a hint of spice. This is a silky, flavourful wine, with a supple tannin structure. A great classic.

James Suckling 90: Lots of red fruit here with redcurrants, cherries and currant leaves. Juicy, medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity and a strawberry-driven finish. Pristine, simple and very drinkable. Nice fruit and nothing is overdone. Oak-free.
Vinous 89: The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Peralillo, Colchagua. Dark garnet red in color. The aromas include blackcurrant and other fruit with a spicy expression over a vanilla layer. In the mouth, it’s simple and fruity with a polished palate and a lingering vanilla finish. (Joaquín Hidalgo)
Wine Enthusiast 88: There is eucalyptus and black pepper on the nose of this everyday Cabernet. Flavors of cherries meet with herbs on the medium-bodied and slightly rough palate. Lifted acidity leads fruit and spices into a medium finish.
