Remoissenet Gevrey Chambertin

The Champs-Elysées of Burgundy begin here. The monks of Langres looked after these vines for a long time. Our plots are located at the base of the Gevrey-Chambertin hillside, creating a true harmony for our wine.

Winemaker notes

A charming nose of black plum, blackberry and undergrowth, with a hint of smoke. The palate is full-bodied with intense tannins.

Pair with beef tataki with ginger or ottolenghi coral lentil soup.

2017

Burghound 89-91: This is also really quite aromatically pretty with tis spice and earth-suffused plum, violet, earth and red pinot fruit-scented nose. The delicious velvet-textured medium weight flavors possess good volume while delivering fine length on the rustic but complex and balanced finish. This is a very good Gevrey villages and worth checking out.
