Domaines Ott* Clos Mireille Rosé

The Clos Mireille terroir, with its vineyards sweeping down towards the Mediterranean Sea, lies in the prestigious La Londe area. It covers 174 hectares classified as a nature reserve. The 56 hectares of vines are planted on relatively shallow and well-draining, schist and quartz soils and thrive in this climate of Mediterranean sunshine and near-constant breeze.

Winemaker notes

Lovely sandy yellow hue with copper tints. The expressive and absolutely delicious nose exudes aromas of peach, exotic fruit, redcurrant and cardamom. The wine is intense and concentrated on entry to the palate. The smooth and full-bodied mid-palate is perfectly balanced by a pleasant acidity with notes of lemon rind. The finish is fresh, mouthwatering and slightly spicy.

Wine Enthusiast 93: Fresh aromas of peach, pear, lemon and fresh cut grass burst from the glass of this pale rosé. It coats your mouth with lively flavors of stone fruits and ocean salinity. A robust rosé with great acidity and long spicy finish can be paired with with light proteins or is complex enough to drink on its own.

Wine Spectator 91: Shows impressive power, offering red currant and juicy melon flavors powered by mouthwatering acidity and mineral energy. Dried rose petal and lavender accents add intrigue to the polished, silky palate, with the density and length making for a standout rosé. Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Drink now through 2028.
