Coudray Bizot Echezeaux Grand Cru En Orveaux Grand Cru - 2018

The vineyard is located just above the vineyard of Clos Vougeot, and is next to Grand Crus from Chambolle Musigny which it ressembles in finesse. En Orveaux is the northern most site in Echezeaux. North of this site is Le Musigny, the Clos de Vougeot is just to the east. The vineyards in this area boast racy, but feminine flavours of game, mushroom, and slate, flanked by overtones of cranberry, and stewed strawberry. Vines re-planted in 1959.

Sourced from an average of 30-60 year old vines, this would be a Grand Cru wine set to impress without breaking the bank!
