Collection: Domaine J. Coudray Bizot

The Bizots you hear today all started with Dr Bizot who who was a surgeon and wine maker at the Hospice du Beaune. This land size of nearly 8 hectares was subsequently passed on to the next generation where part of it ended up at Domaine Coudray-Bizot in Beaune, part of it at Domaine Naddef in Fixin and of course some at Domaine Bizot in Vosne-Romanée. Jean-Jacques inherited vineyard holdings from his father who had received the land from his surgeon grandfather. At Coudray Bizot, Jean Jacques believe in working with the utmost respect for nature, allowing the characteristics of the terroir to speak for itself. The use of any chemical treatments are strongly avoided and, of course, the harvest is done completely by hand.
