Chateau L'Evangile

Not far from Chateau Petrus, lies the prominent Chateau L'Evangile. A majority acquistion was done by Domaine Baron de Rothschild (known as DBR and owners of the famed Chateau Lafite Rothschild) in 1990 led to the subsequent influence by DBR. These included a stringent selection of the vines, improvement in their vineyard practices, new underground cellars and vat room which resulted in stunning Pomerol wines of class and elegance.
