Collection: Chateau d'Aqueria
An elegant and discreet Château perched on the hill overhanging the vallée du Rhône, Château d’Aqueria is 98 hectares of land of which 68 hectares are vineyards, planted within the appellations of Tavel, Lirac and Côtes du Rhône. Owned by the Olivier family for three generations since 1919, the magnificent Château is now acquired by the Guigal family, who has a long history with the Tavel appellation.
Enjoying Quintessential Mediterranean climate: low rainfall, strong sunshine, exposure to the Mistral winds, all three terroirs at Aqueria give rise to exceptional wines of rare quality. With the acquisition of Chateau d’Aqueria, the Guigal family havs made a clear commitment to the appellations of Lirac and Tavel with an ambition to reclaim Tavels’ rightful position as the King of Rosés, Rosé of Kings!
