Remoissenet Chablis Bougros Grand Cru
Remoissenet Chablis Bougros Grand Cru
Low stock
To the west of the Grand Cru hillside, Grand Cru Bougros is sheltered from the wind: it stretches out on a steeper, south-facing slope. This location on the hillside is particularly clement and the hours of sunshine are intense.
Winemaker notes
The nose is complex, with notes of chalk, honeysuckle and fresh butter. Full-bodied and rich from the outset. Very good length!
Pair with marinated salmon, samphire and calamansi, or zucchini risotto with old parmesan and pistou.
2018
Burghound 90: There is more evident Chablis character to the mineral reduction, iodine, sea breeze and citrus nuances. The very round, supple and quite forward medium-bodied flavors possess more obvious power on the dry, focused and lingering citrus-tinged finish that tightens up as it sits on the palate. This too would benefit considerably from developing more depth as it's currently a bit one-dimensional.
