In stock
Right next to the Bouzaize spring, the 1er Cru « Les Teurons » has a terroir of red clay and limestone. The vines were planted here 30 years ago.
Winemaker notes
Slightly oaky, with notes of blackcurrant, redcurrant and raspberry. The palate is greedy, yet elegant. Great length!
Pair with lamb stew with cumin and coriander, or Serrano ham.
2017
Burghound 89-92: A super-fresh and expressive nose offers up a pretty and well-layered mix of red and dark pinot fruit, earth and discreet spice wisps. The vibrant and intense middle weight flavors possess both good detail and a subtle minerality on the firmer and moderately austere finale. This is very promising but it's also quite serious.
James Suckling 92: Ripe raspberries and strawberries, followed by fragrant notes of vanilla and clove. Some wet moss and undergrowth, too. It’s medium bodied with wonderfully juicy red fruit and silky tannins. Delicate and very nice. Hint of stems at the finish.
