Meo Camuzet Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Les Chaumes"

There is much finesse and elegance in this wine, very typical of the Vosne-Roman‚e appellation. Fullness and charm coexist here, in a wine which is not as awe-inspiring as the superb crus, "les Br–l‚es? and "Cros Parantoux?, but which is easy to drink and will quickly seduce you.

BH 90-92: Very Vosne-like aromas blend nose of clove and anise with those of black cherry, violet and cassis. The plush and lavishly rich medium weight flavors possess fine punch before culminating in a relatively robust, indeed even slightly chewy finale. This is certainly attractive in its fashion but it's not typical for Chaumes.
