Winemaker notes
The nose is fine and complex with delicate primary aromas enhanced by a subtle touch of oak. Soft, fruity notes end on a spicy finish. After a few minutes, subtle notes of peppermint and cedar develop. On the palate, all the crispiness of Pinot Noir with very pleasing, smooth, mouth-filling tannic texture.

Wine Advocate 86-88: The 2017 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Malconsorts offers up aromas of earthy currant fruit and spicy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample wine that's both chewy and open-knit. It falls short of what one expects of a Malconsorts.
James Suckling 94: A fragrant and complex Vosne-Romanée with deep black-cherry and floral notes on the nose. Then comes the rich and very elegant palate, the tannins almost completely masked by the fruit, until you reach the very powerful yet polished finish. Try in 2023.
