New Year, New Shipment of Potinet Ampeau

Located in Monthélie near Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is a fifth-generation domain which started from the families of Potinet and Ampeau, where two estates merged at the marriage of Vincent Durrieu's grandparents. Today, Vincent, the fifth generation at helm, runs the 10 hectares of vineyards producing 18 separate cuvees in the following villages of Monthelie, Meursault and Puligny.
A traditional winemaker, Vincent continues the Domaine's tradition in building wines for long ageing, and holding back stocks for commercial reasons - a practice that started in the 1950s. With an exceptional record of wines that age beautifully, the domaine now holds back bottles not because it has to, but because it is their own form of speciality and reputation.
