The « Les combottes » parcel is located right in the heart of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation, alongside the « Charmes » Premier Cru. It lies in the hollow of the primary combe, curled up along the slope, giving it perfect exposure.
The wine has a scent of cherry and strawberry, subtly blends the aroma of oak, a balance structure, full bodied and good aftertaste.
Winemaker notes
Beautiful notes of marzipan flatter the nose. The attack is straightforward and biting, before becoming smoother on the finish. The Côte de Nuits style is assertive, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry and chocolate.
Pair with lamb shoulder confit and roast with honey and truffles, or duck pâté en croûte, foie gras and morel mushrooms.
